Quakers Homeless Action working with The Pilion Trust.

Quakers Homeless Action (QHA) announced today that they will be working in partnership with the Pilion Trust at their Quaker Open Christmas Shelter 2007.

The shelter will be based at the Union Chapel in Islington's Upper Street and will be open over the Christmas Period from the 23rd December to 30th December 2007, helping the homeless and disadvantaged to have somewhere to go and celebrate the festive season that isn't on the cold London streets.

The Pilion Trust will be delivering a substance misuse and mental health service for those vulnerable guests who are in need of support and guidance.

If you are free and would like to help the QHA, please visit there website: www.quaker.org.uk and apply to be a volunteer and support the work that Quakers deliver to the homeless while making a difference in the life of those less fortunate.

(There is training available to support you in helping those in need)
